Why partner with Athenous

Athenous helps teams plan content, publish to social, run campaigns, and automate workflows in one workspace. If you teach marketing, run an agency, or create content for founders and marketers, your audience can get real value from a modern AI-assisted stack.

Commission overview

Standard offer: partners earn 20% of eligible paid subscription revenue for each referral’s first 12 paid billing months. That is the same as about 2.4 months of whatever they pay at list price during that year.

At current public USD list prices—Starter $20/mo and Pro $49/mo—illustrative totals over those 12 months are about $48 on Starter and about $118 on Pro if the plan and price stay the same. Agency and other tiers use the same 20% on amounts actually billed through Stripe.

List examples are not a guarantee: real payouts follow billed amounts, discounts, proration, upgrades or downgrades, taxes, and payment fees where applicable. Chargebacks, refunds, and fraud checks may reduce or reverse commissions. Payout schedule, minimums, and tax documentation are in your affiliate or partner agreement with Athenous. We may change public summaries on this page; your signed agreement controls if they differ.

Example

Pro at list price ($49/mo): your referral is billed $49 for each paid month. You earn 20% of that, or $9.80 per paid month, for up to 12 paid months—about $9.80 × 12 ≈ $118 in commission over that period if the plan and price do not change.

Starter at list price ($20/mo): 20% is $4 per paid month—about $4 × 12 ≈ $48 over 12 paid months with the same assumptions.

In practice, Stripe may bill a different amount after coupons, proration, upgrades, or taxes; your agreement defines how and when you are paid.

How the program works

  1. Enroll in the app. Sign in to Athenous, open Billing or the Affiliate program page from your account menu, and generate your personal referral link.
  2. Share your link. Your link includes a ref code (for example https://app.athenous.io/register?ref=YOURCODE). When someone opens that link, we remember the referral in the browser.
  3. Conversions. When they subscribe through Stripe Checkout from the app, we attach the referral to the subscription for reporting. Self-referrals are not counted. In the app, your affiliate page lists recent conversions by plan and recorded date (no referee personal details).

The commission overview above is a summary. Exact terms, payout schedules, and tax forms are agreed in your partner or affiliate agreement with Athenous. The rest of this page describes how the product supports referrals technically.
